About The Ginger Veteran Custom Clothing Company
My name is Dan, and I’m the founder of The Ginger Veteran Custom Clothing Company. My journey began in 2000 when I joined the British Army, embarking on a career that would shape the rest of my life. Over the course of 18 years, I had the privilege of serving my country, completing two tours in Iraq (Operation Telic 2 and Operation Telic 13) and one tour in Afghanistan (Operation Herrick 17). These experiences taught me the values of discipline, resilience, and camaraderie—values that continue to guide me in everything I do.
After hanging up my uniform in 2018, I found myself adjusting to civilian life. Like many veterans, I struggled to find a sense of purpose outside the structured world of the military. That’s when I turned to a passion I’d always had but never fully explored: creating things with my hands. What started as a hobby in my garden shed—crafting custom clothing for friends and family—soon grew into something much bigger.
The Ginger Veteran Custom Clothing Company was born out of a desire to stay busy, channel my creativity, and give back to the community I hold so dear.
